Wow! Have I been blown away by people who have donated already. Especially Chris and Ann and Nick. Thank you soooo much, it means a lot to me, and has really touched at my soul. So far in pledges and donations we are up to £675 and my donation would bring that up to somewhere near £1000! This is incredible as its still 3 months to go until the run, and we're 2/3rds of the way to the (initial) target. So thanks again for that. And Nick - popped back to the transglobal website and caught up with your guys. Lots going on there then!!! I'll return your generous offer on deed on payday (end of the month). Until you did that I hadn't even noticed the charity part. I was too engrossed in the kit Anyway, all the best everyone, and thanks for the best encouragement you can have.

HAH!! Maybe thats what we are doing wrong! Sorry I couldn't give more, unfortunately as a poor student I can't be as generous as I wish!
The team are now in Bulgaria, and we are awaiting word from them before they leave Europe into Turkey.
Funny you should mention being engrossed in the kit, the other day, the team pulled over into a lay-by, and another motorist was so engrossed himself, that he caused a 5 car pileup!! fortunately everyone was ok, and the wolf was not involved in the actual crash, but it shook Dan up quite a bit!
Looking forward to your next update, that run you did looks insane!, but it must be good practice for fording.
Nick

Well done on raising the money so far, and good luck with future fund raising! Also THANK YOU for sponsoring us in return, its always good to see someone of their word. There's been a few developments over the last couple of days with our expedition, and a fair bit of drama too now they are in Pakistan! No photos yet, but I think Dan did take some! I thought it had to be a Friday to be unlucky on the 13th! Nick

Hi Nick....
Yes I've been following their adventures, and it certainly sounds like adventures would seem the appropriate word. I must admit I have only heard good things about Iran, and their diaries certainly back this up.
I was curious as to how the trailer would perform under extreme conditions, and it certainly seems like it is being tested. I hope that it doesn't become a burden for them.
Will you send on my best wishes for the tricky times. Tell them they are an inspiration to others, and to keep the blog updated! Its a great read and very interesting to find out how others do.
BTW it was my pleasure to sponsor your guys, and hopefully I will do it again, perhaps as a celebration of completing the marathon!
All the best
ollie
