Thanks for letting me know about this Ol - it looks amazing.. Initially the first stage of the journey looks somewhat similar to the one that Ewan McGregor did by bike ? Probably worth having a read of the book "Long Way Round" if you haven't already, I'll bring it in if you let me know, seems you have a while to read it...

As for the long way round, I've seen the DVD and have the book waiting for me on my bookshelf. Along with about 100 others! I went ebay crazy when we first got the idea, and now one of the most daunting tasks is to read all the books!
